Albaddad x Botswana: A Vision for Africa

In a major step toward expanding its international footprint, Albaddad Investment has signed a strategic agreement and Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Republic of Botswana to construct and develop the Botswana World Trade Center, a first-of-its-kind mixed-use landmark set to redefine business, trade, and innovation in Africa.

A Vision for Africa’s Future

The signing ceremony marks the beginning of a groundbreaking collaboration between  Albaddad Investment, a global leader in modular construction and smart infrastructure solutions, and the Government of Botswana, led by H.E. President Duma Boko.
The agreement envisions the creation of a world-class hub that will host global exhibitions, trade fairs, and corporate headquarters, promoting Botswana as a central gateway for international investment and commerce.

The Botswana World Trade Center will be developed on an impressive 1.3 million square meters, featuring offices, hotels, and 80,000 square meters dedicated to exhibition halls and conference facilities — making it the largest and most advanced trade center in Africa.

“This agreement represents more than just a construction project, it is a symbol of progress, partnership, and shared vision. Together with the Republic of Botswana, we aim to create a space that empowers innovation, fosters economic growth, and connects Africa to the world.”

The Road Ahead

The Botswana World Trade Center is set to become Africa’s largest integrated trade and exhibition hub, offering a unique platform for international conferences, business summits, and global networking. Beyond its architectural scale, the project will generate thousands of local jobs, boost tourism, and attract global investors positioning Botswana as a rising force in the continent’s economic transformation.

With Albaddad Group’s expertise in rapid deployment, modular construction, and sustainable design, the project is expected to set a new benchmark for large-scale developments across Africa.
